Fashion Tips

confuse what to wear regardless to your body shape? here are some tips you can follow :)
so now its time to arm yourself with knowledge. lets get started! :)

Dressing For Your Pear Shape Figured

  • You can wear slightly looser fitting cloths on top with out any problem.
  • Puffy sleeves and tops that hug the shoulders or ones with wide-set straps will help to visually widen the chest and shoulders.
  • Look for necklines that are scooped, draped, v'd, rounded or squared.  Any neckline that has a lower and wider neckline will look great.
  •  When choosing a dress, choose a dress with an empire waste or a wrap dress which will flow over your hips.
  • Stay away from body-hugging tight skirts.
  • Stay away from tight jeans with too much detail on the hips or bottom, such as flaps or embroidery on back pockets.

Dressing the Apple-Shaped Figure

  • Look for tops with v necklines; this will pull the eye away from your shoulders.
  • A cami, or tank top, with a matching jacket is always a good way to go!
  • Look for blouses that have a cinched waist, or belted jackets, this will give the illusion of a smaller waist, and slim down your tummy.
  • Play up those nice legs with shorter skirts, by shorter I mean 1 to 5 inches above the knee.
  • Textures like chiffon and silk are great options for your skirts, and you can go crazy with bolder colors and patterns but keep them on your lower half.
  • Stay away from tops that are too baggy and have puffy or full sleeves, this will only make your shoulders and arms look bigger.

Dressing the Hour Glass-Shaped Figure

  • Tops with V necks or scooped necklines will do the trick.
  • Halter tops are great on you, as they show off your shapely shoulders.
  • Wearing skirts will hug you curves and give a smooth fit at the waistline and hips, pencil skirts work best for this.
  • Stay away from pants and tops that are too baggy, these will only give you a frumpy look.
  • Stay away from tops that have large prints, checks and stripes, and blouses with ruffles and lots of details around the bust area, this will only hide your great curves and make you look larger and out of proportion.

Dressing the Rectangle-Shaped Figure

  • Look for jackets that have a cinched waist, or bias cut these will look great on you.
  • Skirts that have a dropped waist look great on you.
  • You will look great in jeans that have a low-rise and that are a straight fit from the hip to the knee with a slight flare at the end.
  • Stay away from short cropped jackets that end at your waist.
  • Stay away from loose garments that do not show off your curves.
  • Stay away from skirts, jeans, and pants that are high waisted.
